Operations

An Operation allows you to group one or more consolidations that are part of the same shipping operation.

To add a consolidation to an Operation, it must first be in Confirmed status.

How to Create an Operation in MIDLA

From the main menu, go to:

Warehouses → Operations

From this screen, you can view existing Operations or select Create Operation to start a new one.

List of Operations in MIDLA

The creation process is divided into two stages:

01 General → 02 Summary

1. General

At this stage, you define the main information for the Operation and select the consolidations that will be included.

General information when creating an Operation in MIDLA

Complete the following information:

  • Warehouse: warehouse from which the operation will be carried out.
  • Destination Country: country to which the shipment will be sent.
  • Transport Mode: transportation method used for the shipment.
  • Destination: destination point corresponding to the operation.

Select Consolidations

MIDLA displays the consolidations available to be added to the Operation.

The Consolidation Status field allows you to filter consolidations by status. To continue with the process, they must be in Confirmed status.

Each consolidation displays information such as reference, customer, consignee, packages, contents, weight, volume, and FOB.

Select the corresponding consolidations or use Select All to include all available consolidations.

Only consolidations that meet the conditions of the Operation can be selected.

2. Summary

Once the information has been completed and the consolidations have been selected, continue to Summary.

Review the Operation details and the included consolidations before completing the process.

Created Operation

Once created, the Operation becomes available under Warehouses → Operations.

From the list, you can quickly view its reference, status, warehouse, transport mode, destination, number of consolidations, and creation date.

When you open an Operation, MIDLA displays its details and allows you to manage the associated information.
