Manage Email

The Manage Email section allows you to configure email delivery from the application and, when applicable, use a custom SMTP server.

Email Configuration

Enable Email

Allows you to enable email delivery from the application.

Sender Name

Allows you to define the name displayed as the sender in outgoing emails.

Enable Custom SMTP

Allows you to use your own SMTP server and sender address instead of the platform's shared email service.

The Enable Email field is part of the required configuration for this section.

Custom SMTP Configuration

When Custom SMTP is enabled, the parameters required to configure the connection to the email server become available.

Delivery Mode

Allows you to select the method used to send emails.

SMTP Host

Allows you to specify the SMTP server host.

SMTP Port

Allows you to specify the port used by the SMTP server.

Username

Allows you to enter the username used for SMTP authentication.

Password

Allows you to enter the password used for SMTP authentication.

Encryption

Allows you to select the encryption type used to establish the connection.

Sender Address

Allows you to define the email address used as the sender.

Alias Domain

Allows you to define a domain so that the user's email address can be used as the sender when applicable. Otherwise, the configured sender address is used.

When using custom SMTP, the Delivery Mode, SMTP Host, SMTP Port, Username, Password, and Encryption fields are required.

Actions

Send Test Email

Allows you to send a test email using the configured settings.

Test Connection

Allows you to verify the connection to the configured SMTP server.

Save

Saves the configuration defined for email delivery.
