Chatter
What is Chatter?
Chatter is an integrated tool within system records that centralizes communication, tracking, and collaboration between users.From this section, it is possible to log messages, internal notes, and activities linked to a specific record, keeping a complete history of interactions.
Chatter Objective
The purpose of Chatter is to maintain an organized history of interactions and actions linked to each record.This improves information traceability, makes follow-up easier, and optimizes collaboration between users.
From Chatter, it is possible to:
- Send messages.
- Log internal notes.
- Schedule activities.
- Review the history of completed actions.
- Maintain traceability of changes and follow-ups.
Accessing Chatter
Chatter is integrated into records across the different system modules.To access Chatter:
- Enter the corresponding module.
- Select the desired record.
- Click on the Chatter icon located in the top-right corner of the record.

When opening Chatter, the record history will be displayed along with the available tools for managing messages, notes, and activities.

The Chatter content updates automatically with each new interaction, maintaining a centralized, organized, and accessible history.
Available Actions
From Chatter, different actions are available to log information and perform follow-ups on the current record.

Send Message
The Send Message option allows sending messages linked to the current record.When selected, a form will open to compose the message.

Available Fields
- To: allows selecting the message recipient.
- Add Subject: allows defining the message subject.
- Message Body: main content of the message.
- Attachments: allows attaching documents or additional files.
Available Actions
- Send: sends the message and logs it in the history.
- Cancel: cancels the operation without saving changes.
Message Record
Once sent, the message will be stored in the Chatter history, showing information such as sender, recipient, date, and content.

Log Note
The Log Note option allows saving internal notes linked to the current record.These notes can be used to document observations or relevant information for follow-up purposes.

Available Fields
- Add Subject: allows defining a subject for the note.
- Note Body: main content of the note.
- Attachments: allows attaching files.
Available Actions
- Log: saves the note in the history.
- Cancel: cancels the operation without saving changes.
Note Record
Once logged, the note will be stored in the Chatter history, showing information such as user, date, and content.

Schedule Activity
The Schedule Activity option allows creating a new activity linked to the current record.

The field and action configuration for Schedule Activity is equivalent to the one documented in the Activities → My Schedule section.
Activity Record
Once scheduled, the activity will be recorded in the Chatter history.

Activities created from Chatter will also automatically appear in Activities → My Schedule.
Actions on a Registered Activity
Each activity registered in the Chatter has an Action Group (⋮) menu.
The following actions are available from this menu:
- Mark as Done
- Edit Activity
- Cancel Activity
Chatter Tools
Chatter includes additional tools that allow managing files, followers, and applying filters to the record history.

Attachments
The Attachments tool allows uploading files linked to the current record.

Available Actions
- Upload File: allows uploading a new file to the record.
- Cancel: cancels the operation without attaching files.
Uploaded files will remain linked to the record and can later be viewed from the Chatter history.
Followers
The Followers tool allows managing users subscribed to the current record.

Available Fields
- Recipients: allows selecting the users who will be added as followers.
- Notify User: allows defining whether the user will be notified when added.
Available Actions
- Add Follower: adds the selected user as a follower.
- Cancel: cancels the operation without making changes.
Added followers will automatically receive notifications about new actions registered in the Chatter.
Filters
The Filters tool allows applying search criteria to the Chatter history.

Available Fields
- Search: allows locating specific items within the history.
- Type: filters by record type.
- Date: filters by date.
- Sort By: organizes results according to different criteria.
- Pinned Only: shows only pinned items.
Available Actions
- Apply Filters: applies the selected criteria.
- Cancel: closes the tool without applying filters.
Pin
The Pin option allows highlighting important messages, notes, or activities within the Chatter history.

Pinned items will remain highlighted in the history until they are manually unpinned.
