Places

The Places section allows you to view and manage locations used within the platform.

Each place can be associated with a type, country, and province, and can also be configured as available for origin or destination use.

Places List

The list displays the main information for each registered place.

Place

Identifies the registered place.

Type

Indicates the type of place.

Country

Indicates the country associated with the place.

Province

Indicates the associated province when available.

Primary Code

Displays the primary code associated with the place.

Origin

Indicates whether the place is allowed as an origin.

Destination

Indicates whether the place is allowed as a destination.

Active

Indicates whether the place is active.

Available Actions

Search

Allows you to locate places within the list.

Filter

Allows you to apply filters to the available records.

New Place

Allows you to register a new place.

Edit

Allows you to modify the information of the selected place.

Create Place

The New Place option allows you to register a new location and define its characteristics.

General

Name

Allows you to define the name used to identify the place.

Type

Allows you to select the type of place.

Country

Allows you to select the country to which the place belongs.

Province

Allows you to select a province associated with the place.

Subdivision Code

Allows you to enter the corresponding subdivision code.

The Name, Type, and Country fields are required.

Location

This section allows you to enter geographic information corresponding to the place.

Latitude

Allows you to enter the latitude of the location.

Longitude

Allows you to enter the longitude of the location.

Time Zone

Allows you to define the time zone corresponding to the place.

Elevation (m)

Allows you to enter the elevation of the location in meters.

Status and Metadata

Active

Allows you to define whether the place is active.

Allowed as Origin

Allows you to define whether the place can be used as an origin.

Allowed as Destination

Allows you to define whether the place can be used as a destination.

Metadata (JSON)

Allows you to add additional information in JSON format.

Identifiers

The Identifiers section allows you to associate identification codes with the place, such as IATA, UNLOCODE, or ICAO codes.

Add to Identifiers

Allows you to add additional identifiers to the place.

Actions

Create

Creates the place using the entered information.

Create and Create Another

Saves the current record and starts the creation of a new one.

Cancel

Closes the form without creating the place.

Once created, the place becomes available in the Places list for viewing and management.
